SJB promove o melhor carnaval do interior do Rio de Janeiro
São João da Barra já está “Revivendo a Folia”, com o melhor carnaval do interior do Rio de Janeiro. A prefeita Carla Caputi entregou a chave do município ao Rei Momo e à Rainha do Carnaval na noite desta quinta-feira, 16. O ato marca o início festa, que também faz uma homenagem ao artista e folião Dom Américo, falecido em 2020. Por anos, ele animou o público e se divertia na Avenida do Samba. Desta vez, coube a um dos seus filhos, Apollo Ramidan, abrir o grande “Baile do Dom”. A festa neste ano, por diferentes pontos do município, vai passar da quarta-feira de cinzas, e só termina no dia 26.
— É o primeiro carnaval pós-pandemia que, como sanjoanenses, podemos curtir da forma que gostamos. Nosso carnaval é o melhor do interior do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Sejam todos muito bem-vindos, curtam a folia, mas tenham responsabilidade. A gente gosta de festa e harmonia — disse Carla Caputi.
Filho de Dom Américo, o também cantor Apollo Ramidan contou que ficou emocionado com a homenagem feita pela Prefeitura ao seu pai. “Meu pai tinha paixão por São João da Barra, nem preciso falar isso com ninguém porque ele sempre declarava isso aqui. Toda a nossa família ficou muito feliz com essa homenagem”, contou.
A decoração ao longo da Avenida do Samba traz nos oito arcos figuras dos antigos carnavais, como piêrros e colombinas, e os painéis de led também mostram fotos de Dom Américo. Além disso, os painéis exibem mensagens de conscientização e informações sobre a programação da Avenida do Samba.
Por falar em conscientização, a Rainha do Carnaval, Pauline Penha, fez um alerta contra o assédio e cobrou respeito às mulheres. O Rei Momo, Arthur Lima, falou sobre a expectativa de um carnaval de muita união e amor, em clima de paz.
A primeira noite oficial de festa ainda conta com os blocos Vai Que Depois Eu Vou e Amigos Guerreiros. As tradicionais escolas de samba Congos e Chinês realizam seus ensaios técnicos. Para encerrar, tem show com a banda Vibe Mix.
