Paulo Arantes toma posse e já participa da sessão desta terça da Câmara de Campos
Pouco antes da sessão desta terça-feira (07), Paulo Arantes (PDT) tomou posse na Câmara de Campos. Ele assume a cadeira na vaga de Leon Gomes (PDT), que foi para a presidência da Fundação Municipal da Infância e Juventude (FMIJ).
No seu primeiro discurso, Paulo Arantes fez duras críticas a gestão Rafael Diniz (Cidadania) e declarou estar na base do prefeito Wladimir Garotinho (sem partido). “O povo de Campos está mais feliz”, afirmou.
Arantes foi vereador de Campos na legislatura passada. Foi base de Rafael por um tempo, mas depois passou para oposição. Também na condição de suplente, ele assumiu o mandato após condenações na Chequinho.
No último pleito municipal, em 2020, recebeu 850 votos. Fosse titular do mandato, não tomaria posse devido à cláusula de barreira, que impede mandatos para quem não obtiver 10% do quociente eleitoral. Na condição de suplente, no entanto, a regra não se aplica.
