Adversários na política, Garotinho e Carla Machado se abraçam na Semana Santa
Aliados no início dos anos 2000, mas ferrenhos adversários na política regional desde os tempos em que Sérgio Cabral chegou ao Governo do Estado e rompeu com o clã que o antecedeu no Palácio Guanabara, o ex-governador Anthony Garotinho (União) e a deputada estadual Carla Machado (PT) estiveram juntos neste sábado (08) de Aleluia.
O encontro aconteceu em Atafona, litoral de São João da Barra, onde Garotinho disse que passou a Semana Santa junto a outros amigos. E Carla, ex-prefeita do município, sempre está presente na localidade. Nas palavras dele: “troquei um abraço carinhoso com a deputada estadual Carla Machado”.
Na imagem também aparecem a ex-governadora Rosinha Garotinho (União) e aliados de longa data do clã, como os ex-vereadores Linda Mara Silva e Thiago Virgílio, além do vereador Bruno Pezão (PL) e a mãe dele, Regina.
Recentemente, em Campos, Carla elogiou o governo de Wladimir Garotinho (sem partido) e recordou que o conhecia desde pequeno. O prefeito, no seu discurso, reafirmou que Carla era uma pessoa do convívio da família, fazendo um trocadilho de que ela a conhecia “desde que era garotinho”. Ainda no seu discurso, Carla falou sobre um novo tempo na política:
— O tempo hoje é outro. Deixou de ser de competição para ser de cooperação, pelo bem comum, pelo bem do povo. Nós precisamos ajudar a esse povo que tanto sofre — afirmou a prefeita no dia 28.
O projeto de pacificação política na região parece ter se tornado maior do que o esperado. Está gerando imagens inimagináveis há bem pouco tempo para quem caminha nos bastidores da política.
