Bruno Dauaire diz que estará de mãos dadas com Carla Machado para defender a região
Minutos após o discurso da deputada estadual Carla Machado (PT), que pregou um tempo de cooperação pelo bem público (aqui), foi a vez de Bruno Dauaire (União) falar sobre maturidade política. Integrante do primeiro escalão do governo Cláudio Castro (PL), na pasta da Habitação, o deputado estadual não citou as divergências na política local, intrínsecas para quem acompanha o histórico desde as acirradas disputas sanjoanense. Mas afirmou que estará de mãos dadas com Carla para defender os interesses da região.
— Nós precisamos ter a maturidade política de entender que é um momento de diálogo, de construção, pelo bem público, pelo bem da população. (…) Tenho certeza de que depender da deputada Carla Machado, no que depender do deputado e secretário Bruno Dauaire, nós estaremos de mãos dadas, com maturidade, para tratar do interesse público da região Norte e Noroeste Fluminense — afirmou Bruno, durante a solenidade em Campos, nesta terça-feira (28), da entrega de ambulâncias do Samu para municípios da região.
Dauaire ainda citou papel do deputado Rodrigo Bacellar (PL), atual presidente da Alerj, nesta luta por pautas que beneficiem a região.
Adversários na política de SJB
Na política sanjoanense, desde que se tornou deputado em 2014, Bruno sempre é um nome visto como possível candidato de oposição ao grupo de Carla — inclusive para o próximo pleito. Ela e o pai dele, o ex-prefeito de SJB Betinho Dauaire, já foram aliados políticos nos anos 1990. No entanto, romperam e já se enfrentaram nas urnas algumas vezes. Em 2000, Betinho foi reeleito, vencendo a disputa contra Machado. Em 2008, foi a vez de Carla ser reeleita pela primeira vez com triunfo sobre Dauaire.
Somados os confrontos indiretos, a vantagem é da deputada. Em 2004, Carla conquistou o primeiro mandato de prefeita, vencendo o empresário Ari Pessanha, que tinha o apoio de Betinho. Em 2012, Neco, então aliado de Carla, venceu a disputa contra o ex-prefeito. Nos pleitos de 2016 e 2020, ambos vencidos por Machado, o clã Dauaire teve tímida participação nas eleições municipais de SJB.
