Campos declara situação de epidemia de dengue
Campos entrou em situação de epidemia de dengue nesta quarta-feira (08). A declaração é da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, após a Subsecretaria de Atenção Básica, Vigilância e Promoção da Saúde (Subpav) constatar que o município está, desde as primeiras semanas de fevereiro, com um número muito maior de casos confirmados do que a média histórica desde 2009. Foram confirmados entre 01 de janeiro e 08 de março deste ano, 613 casos de dengue, sendo um óbito de um idoso em Travessão. Não há casos de zika e nem de chikungunya.
Desde janeiro deste ano, quando a secretaria de Saúde começou a perceber um aumento no número de pessoas acometidas pela doença, a Prefeitura criou uma força-tarefa, a partir da união de várias secretarias, para ações de combate ao Aedes aegypti, mosquito transmissor da dengue, zika e chikungunya.
“Quando comparamos a série histórica de casos desde 2009, com os confirmados em janeiro e fevereiro deste ano, podemos dizer que o município vive uma epidemia. Nas primeiras semanas de fevereiro, considerando os dados desde 2009, tivemos quase quatro vezes mais casos de dengue”, explicou o subsecretário da Subpav, infectologista Rodrigo Carneiro. Somente no mês de fevereiro deste ano, o município confirmou 363 casos da doença.
O médico ressaltou que, para se determinar se uma cidade está em situação de epidemia, são considerados dados históricos de, pelo menos, 10 anos. “Com esses dados é possível perceber o que seria uma faixa de número de casos considerada estatisticamente normal pelo Ministério da Saúde, mas o que vemos é que a tendência de alta vem se mantendo em Campos”, afirmou.
Ele reconhece que existe uma subnotificação de casos e até queda quando há feriados prolongados, como o do Carnaval. “Seguiremos acompanhando a confirmação de casos e mantendo as medidas de prevenção adotadas desde janeiro, quando percebemos um aumento no número de pessoas acometidas pela doença”, disse.
Além dos grandes mutirões para combate ao Aedes aegypti, com a participação de várias secretarias, das visitas domiciliares realizadas pelos Agentes de Combate às Endemias do Centro de Controle de Zoonoses (CCZ), Rodrigo Carneiro citou a ampliação do Centro de Referência da Dengue e Pós-Covid Dr. Jayme Tinoco Netto, com a descentralização do atendimento, como medidas de enfrentamento à dengue.
AÇÃO NAS ESCOLAS – Entre as secretarias que vêm reforçando a luta contra a dengue no município está a Secretaria de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia (Seduct). Além das atividades desenvolvidas nas escolas, por meio de projeto de combate ao Aedes aegypti, implantado pelo Departamento Pedagógico, a Educação está atuando em outras frentes de trabalho.
Em uma delas, as equipes do projeto Estação Educação e da Coordenação de Educação Ambiental da Seduct criaram um vídeo educativo de apenas três minutos que foi encaminhado a todas as unidades escolares da rede municipal de ensino, convidando os alunos a se tornarem agentes de saúde mirim visando o controle do vetor.
A Educação está colaborando também com os mutirões do CCZ, com a participação do Grupo Oficina de Texto Terra da Alegria (Gotta), das Bandas e Fanfarras da Seduct, da equipe pedagógica, Departamento de Animação Cultural e Subsecretaria de Educação, cujos profissionais ajudam na promoção de ação educativa, com orientação e panfletagem junto aos agentes do CCZ.
