Audiência pública discute acesso dos pescadores do 5º distrito à Lagoa de Iquipari
A Câmara Municipal de São João da Barra vai realizar uma audiência pública nesta quarta-feira (29), às 17h, no auditório da Subprefeitura de Sabonete, no 5º distrito. O objetivo é obter dados, subsídios, informações, sugestões, críticas ou propostas, com a participação de todos os atores envolvidos na atuação da Reserva Ambiental Fazenda Caruara, sobre a necessidade de fechamento de um acesso existente a oeste da sua propriedade. A empresa justifica este fato, alegando a existência de danos ambientais à unidade, provocados por terceiros.
O pedido de realização da audiência pública foi feito pela Comissão Permanente de Defesa de Ecologia e Meio Ambiente ao presidente do Legislativo, Alan de Grussaí (Cidadania), por meio de comunicação interna, lida no plenário, na sessão do dia 07 de março.
— A Reserva Caruara é muito importante e não temos nada contra o seu trabalho de preservação, mas como presidente da Comissão de Defesa de Ecologia e Meio Ambiente estou solidário aos pescadores e usuários da Lagoa de Iquipari que tinham acesso à lagoa lá pelo 5º Distrito e que hoje estão impedidos de usarem aquele acesso. Precisamos discutir amplamente esse assunto e ver como podemos atender a esses pescadores — observou o presidente da comissão, Analiel Vianna. A comissão é formada, ainda, pelos vereadores Franquis Arêas (PSC, que é o relator) e Kaká (Podemos, membro).
A Reserva Caruara é uma unidade de conservação, do tipo RPPN (Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural), criada de forma voluntária em 2012, pela Porto do Açu Operações, com a missão de proteger, restaurar e promover a biodiversidade do maior fragmento remanescente de restinga em área privada do Brasil, por meio de ações e serviços que gerem conhecimento científico, educação e benefícios ambientais, sociais e econômicos.
